Hopkins families… exciting news! 🎉
The GCPS Pre‑K Program is preparing for the 2026–27 school year, and applications for the Pre‑K Lottery are open March 16 – April 19.
If your child will be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2026, you can apply for a spot in one of Gwinnett’s Pre‑K classes. Hopkins Elementary is proud to participate!
⭐ What to know:
• Students attend the elementary school in their attendance zone.
• Two Pre‑K classes are offered, 16 students each.
• Lottery selection determines placement; families are notified in May.
📝 How to apply:
Visit: www.gcpsk12.org/programs-and-services/early-learning-0-5-years/pre-k
Apply anytime March 16–April 19.
📅 Lottery Day:
On May 4, GCPS will notify families selected for available Pre‑K spots. Others will be placed on a waiting list.
